Forgery is a word that refers to the action of creating or altering something with the intention of deceiving or tricking others into believing it is genuine or authentic. Think of it as creating a counterfeit version of something, like a fake painting that appears to be an original masterpiece.

So, you decide to make your own action figure using clay and paint, aiming to make it look exactly like the original. Then, you show it to your friends and pretend it is the real one. Forgery can also happen with important documents, such as signatures, checks, or legal papers. Let's say that someone wants to take money from another person without their knowledge.
