Described means to tell or write about something in detail, so that someone else can understand it. If I were to describe my favorite animal, I would talk about its size, its color, where it lives, what it eats, and how it moves. Basically, when you describe something, you are giving a lot of information about it so that other people can imagine it in their minds.

For example, imagine if I asked you to describe your favorite movie. What would you say? You might talk about the main characters, the story, the funny or exciting parts, and maybe even how it made you feel. This is how you would describe the movie to me, so I can understand what it's like even if I haven't seen it myself.

Another way to think about describing something is like explaining it in a way that helps someone else see it the way you do. It's like painting a picture with words, so that the person listening or reading can see the same picture in their mind.
