Autocratic for Dummies

Sometimes, when someone is in charge of a group or a organization, they might take complete control and make all the decisions on their own. They don't give anyone else the chance to have a say or share their ideas. This is what we call being autocratic.

Now, there's one more thing I want to mention. "Autocratic" can also be used to describe a government or a ruler who has complete control and makes all the decisions without the input or agreement of the people they govern. It's like when someone becomes the ruler of a country and doesn't let anyone else have a say in how things are done. They might make laws without considering what the people want or need. This can sometimes make the people feel like their voices aren't being heard and they don't have any power to change things around them.
