Unaddicted is a word which is used to describe someone who is not addicted to something. You know addiction, right? It's when you have a strong and uncontrollable desire or need for something. So, when we add the prefix "un-" to it, it changes the meaning to the opposite. It means that the person is not addicted to something, they don't have that strong need or desire for it. It's like if you really, really loved eating candy and couldn't stop, but then suddenly you no longer felt that craving for it, you would be unaddicted to candy.

Think of it this way: imagine you have a favorite toy that you love to play with all the time. It makes you feel really happy. But one day, you lose that toy and you don't feel sad or upset about it. You realize that you've become unaddicted to that toy. You no longer have that strong need or desire to play with it. It's the same with being unaddicted to something like drugs or video games. It means you no longer have that uncontrollable urge to use them or play them all the time.

So, if someone says that they are unaddicted to something, it means they have overcome their addiction and don't feel that overwhelming need or want for it anymore. They have broken free from the hold that thing had on them and are living their life without being controlled by it. It's a really positive word because it shows that someone has managed to let go of something that was once controlling them and now they can live their life in a healthier and happier way.
