In a different context, "rigidly" can also mean that something is very stiff or not able to be bent. For instance, when you try to bend a piece of wood that is very hard and doesn't change its shape, it is rigid. Just like this wood, when we say someone is behaving "rigidly," we mean they are being inflexible and not open to new ideas or perspectives. They stick to their own way of thinking and refuse to consider any other suggestions.

So, in simple words, "rigidly" means sticking to a strict pattern or being inflexible. It describes situations or behavior where there is no room for change or bending, just like a toy that can't move or wood that can't be bent.
