Quadrantanopia is kind of like a fancy word to describe a specific way that someone might not be able to see everything in their field of vision. You know how when you look around, you see things on the left side and things on the right side, right? Well, imagine if you couldn't see a small part of what's on either the right or left side. That's basically what quadrantanopia is.

Then there's another type called heteronymous quadrantanopia. This means that the loss of vision happens in different parts of the visual field in each eye.
