Countable for Dummies

Countable is a word that we use to describe something that can be counted or numbered. It's like when you have a bag of marbles and you can count how many marbles there are by saying "one, two, three, four, five, six..." and so on. So countable things are things that you can count, just like marbles! But we can also use the word countable to describe things that can be measured or identified in some way.

For example, think about a classroom. We can count how many students are sitting in the class by saying "one student, two students, three students" and so on.
