Sure thing! So, when we talk about "bottlefeed," we're actually talking about a way to feed a baby or a young animal when they're not able to eat solid food yet. It's when we use a bottle to give them milk, formula, or any other type of liquid nutrition. Just like when you're thirsty and you take a sip of water from a bottle, baby animals and human infants do the same thing when they're bottlefed.

It's kind of like how you might drink water from a water bottle when you're thirsty, but instead of water, the baby is drinking milk or formula. And just like how we have to be very careful not to spill the water while we're drinking, the person who's bottlefeeding has to be very careful not to spill the milk or formula while they're feeding the baby. That's why we have to hold the bottle at just the right angle for the baby to drink comfortably and safely.

So, when we talk about "bottlefeed," it's just a way of saying that we're giving a baby or a young animal their nutrition from a bottle, instead of from a cup or from solid food.

For example, imagine if your pet puppy or kitten was very little and still too small to eat regular food. You'd have to bottlefeed them by giving them special milk from a bottle until they were old enough to eat solid food. It's the same thing with human babies, when they're too young to eat solid food, we bottlefeed them to make sure they get all the nutrition they need.
