Allosaurus for Dummies

Allosaurus is a word that refers to a type of dinosaur that lived a really long time ago. When we talk about dinosaurs, we usually think of big and fearsome creatures, right? Well, an Allosaurus is definitely one of those! It was a huge dinosaur that walked on two legs, just like how we humans walk. They were like the kings and queens of the prehistoric world, ruling over other animals with their sharp teeth and powerful jaws.

Imagine a giant creature with long legs and a long tail, covered in scaly skin, and having a big head with lots of sharp teeth. That's what an Allosaurus looked like! They were part of what we call the Jurassic Period, which was a time when dinosaurs were ruling the Earth.
